Cressi Supernova Dry review

The Cressi Supernova Dry is a dry snorkel that can be used for scuba diving and snorkeling.

A dry snorkel will keep water from coming in through the top of the tube through a seal, while the bottom piece will release water, as soon as your head hits the water surface after a dive.

Of course, you still need to blow the remaining water out, however, it will be much less and easier to do so.

Our Cressi Supernova Dry review

Below you find everything you need to know about the Cressi Supernova Dry, its features, specs and what we like, and don't like about it.

The Cressi Supernova Dry is one of the best dry snorkels on the market and is just a really comfortable piece of equipment.

Like pretty much all Cressi dive equipment, it comes in dozens of colors so pick what suits your style. I personally prefer black for all my scuba gear, you know…black is the color. 😉

What I don’t like is the sheer size of the Supernova Dry that’s a lot bigger than others out there.

This leads to it flapping around underwater and if it hasn’t been fastened to the mask properly.

However, for snorkeling only, the Cressi Supernova Dry will be your best friend! It feels so comfortable and the mouthpiece is great.

It is flexible enough to not be in your way when looking around at the reef, even though it is not foldable. While I personally prefer foldable ones for scuba diving, I understand it’s not the best option for snorkeling.

On the other hand, the snorkel does its name justice and really stays dry throughout your time breathing from it.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a great allrounder dry snorkel for scuba diving and snorkeling, you will like the Cressi Supernova Dry.

It has a lot of color options, really stays dry and is flexible enough to not be in your way on a scuba dive.
